Prayer, Pioneering & Evangelism: How God Opens Doors for the Gospel

What if growing in evangelism started with three simple prayers: God, open a door. Open their heart. Open my mouth.
Prayer, pioneering & evangelism belong together. Sometimes sharing Jesus begins not with having the perfect strategy, but with recognising where God is already moving and having the courage to join Him.
In this episode of The Win Win Evangelism Podcast, Tina Waldrom talks with Jessie Skelly from PAIS Australia about what it means to pioneer new opportunities for the gospel, particularly among the next generation. From praying outside school gates to discovering “people of peace” and equipping young Christians to share Jesus with their friends, Jessie shares powerful stories of what can happen when ordinary believers stop trying to make everything happen themselves and start looking for where God is already at work.
This conversation is also a challenge to get out of the boat and have a go. You’ll hear why today’s pioneering evangelism needs prayer, creativity and fresh approaches, how fear can stop us before a conversation even begins, and why we shouldn’t decide in advance who will or won’t respond to Jesus. If you want your evangelism to become more prayerful, courageous and dependent on the Holy Spirit, this episode will encourage you to pray for an open door and then be ready to walk through it.
