What do you need to know to be great at interviewing? What are the best tips on the art of interviewing? Conducting interviews whether online or in a group setting can be an engaging way to connect with people who don’t know Christ yet.
Often, we think of interviews for our social media context, church online or for church/organisational settings. How about thinking of interviews as an outreach tool?
Recently, EIA ran an event to equip pastors and leaders in the art of interviewing. Tina Waldrom interviewed Karl Faase who is an expert in the art of interviewing. Karl is the CEO of Olive Tree Media; he has conducted hundreds of interviews globally.
This blog post explores the first two questions that Karl was asked.
The questions were:
- What’s the main two to three things that you need to know before the interview?
- Good interviews rely on good research. What should you be looking for in the research phase?
Here are the answers to those questions – enjoy the video.
You can listen to the podcast episodes in this series also.
The initial webinar that was conducted by EIA was produced into two podcast episodes.
Episode 1 – How to be Successful at Conducting Interviews with Special Guest Karl Faase
Episode 2 – How to be Successful at Conducting Interviews with Special Guest Karl Faase
We pray this can all be helpful for you,
Blessings,
